Painting with your fingers
I hope my decision to try and write this blog isn’t going to come and bite me on the proverbial. It’s a new venture for me but as I have a brand new website that will shortly be loaded online (hopefully) I thought it would be a good opportunity to give blogging a go. I guess it’s bound to be largely about my studio life of painting, with all it’s frustrations and struggles as well as the occasional day of euphoria and success.
But then I also spend a great deal of my life in the garden where I mainly grow vegetables and fruit which sustain at least a couple of households through most of the year. This part of my life is equally a mixture of frustration and success due in large part to the vagaries of the weather which, as everyone knows, is fickle to say the least here in the UK.
The new website requires me to spend a fair bit of time making sure I have digital photos of all my paintings, together with their titles and measurements to load up onto the gallery.
